I consider “everyday jewels” as the jewelry I never take off. I have been known to layer it on but, after a summer of simplifying, my approach has become more refined of late. I have a basic approach to my multiple ear piercings: more than one can skew towards a fight for visual attention—keep them simple (i.e. thin huggie hoops or unfussy studs). For rings, the only thing I wear absolutely every day without fail is my wedding band, a thread-thin pavé diamond ring. Anything else is usually a visual statement or deeply personal.
