SUMMARYOn Call assignments on as needed basis. Under the direction of the Coordinator-Mental Health, provide direct mental health services including mental health assessment, counseling, consultation, mental health evaluations, treatment and collateral case management for students, parents, and families; perform individual and group counseling therapy for students; serve as a resource to school site principals, service providers, students, parents and staff as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPossession of a Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or a related field; • Acceptance by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology as a candidate for licensure (registered intern/associate) as either a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Professional Clinical Counselor Intern, or Psychological Assistant. One (1) year of experience in a private or governmental agency providing direct mental health related services to students, which should include identifying patient mental health needs, using community resources, and student advocacy.
