The FAFSA Bus Is Coming!
The FTCC FAFSA Bus will be on hand to assist CCS Families with completing the FAFSA application for the 2024-2025 school year. Fayetteville Community Family Fun Day Event with NFL Player Julian Hill
NFL Player Julian Hilland the Two-Six Project arepresenting the Fayetteville Community Family Fun Day event on Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Pine Forest High School. Families are invited to attend and enjoy the music, games, food trucks, vendors booths and more. Julian will be autographing mini-footballs from 9 -10 a.m. And, 200 free backpacks with supplies and lunches will be given away on a first-come, first serve basis but the child must be present toreceive one. A new food assistance program has come to North Carolina this summer calledSUNBucks. Qualifying families get $120 in food benefits for each child from the newSUNBucksprogram to buy healthy foods. The CCS Summer Meals Program runs through Thursday, August 1. Children 18 years and younger can enjoy free lunch. No registration or application are required. Check the CCS Child Nutrition website atcn.ccs.k12.nc.usfor serving times and a list of locations throughout the county.
